It was an exciting week, alhumdulillah, as pictures were taken for all students at both campuses. The students had a fun and pleasant experience with Cathie and her crew from Pacific Portraits. We thank them for taking pictures for us again this year. Ordering information is linked below. Please buy something for memory, if you can, to keep Picture Day sustainable for the photo company, insha’Allah.
We want to thank everyone who has re-enrolled their students for the next school year. We appreciate it very much. It helps us to plan for the upcoming year as well as accept new students in a timely manner. If you have not yet re-enrolled, please do so before Wednesday, March 15. The enrollment form, resource fee, and tuition (until March) should be received for the process to be complete.
Ramadan is so close and our teachers have started activities with the students to get into the spirit masha’Allah. Classroom decorations, art projects, and house activities are in the works! May Allah SWT help us to reach Ramadan and accept it from us. Aameen.

Kutubee - Arabic Reading Marathon
Grades 5 through 10 are participating in the nationwide Arabic Readathon that started on March 1st! The school reading the most books will win a prize.
Congratulations to Anabia Ehsan of 6th grade for reading 228 (no, it’s not a typo) books so far, masha’Allah!
Priority Re-enrollment closes Wednesday, March 15, 2023
AP Exam Payments Due
Exams will be administered starting the first week of May (one week after our break); mock trial exams will be scheduled the last week of April, insha'Allah.
School Portraits - Ordering Information
Student portraits are now online and available for viewing and purchase.

2. Click on "Order your portraits here"
3. Enter your code: BHAstudentID (student IDs can be found in Jupiter Ed.)
4. Order your preferable sets and pay online
5. Select the pose you want us to use for the school yearbook by March 22nd, 2023 (If no pose is chosen, admin will choose for you)
Information for the yearbook purchase will be posted at a later date.
If you'd like to order student IDs for this school year then please email saba.amber@issdweb.org. The cost for IDs is $3 each and can be paid in cash at either school office. IDs for the next school year will be available after the Fall picture day in September 2023, insha'Allah.

Sabr is not just simply patience or even resilience; it goes beyond these dimensions to exercise self-control.
Many Muslim scholars have mentioned that ṣabr consists of three main categories.
Ṣabr or controlling oneself when tempted.
Ṣabr or controlling oneself to fulfill the commandments of Allah.
Ṣabr or controlling oneself when faced with unprecedented calamities to remain balanced and to not act in a regrettable way.

For Tuesdays and Thursdays, lunches are paid in advance; however, if you decide to pay on the same day of the lunch, you can pay for it in the morning at the main office.
The Monday and Wednesday lunches can be paid to your teacher on the morning of that day.
