Immediately following 9:00 a.m. Mass
Saint Michael’s Parish welcomes with joy those mothers, who recognize that all life is a gift from God. Pregnancy is a difficult, but wonderful time. Mothers join with God to bring forth the miracle of new life. With this thought in mind, the Church provides a wonderful blessing for the child in the womb. We encourage expectant mothers to make this a family gathering; invite your family and friends. To register for this blessing, contact Deacon Ralph at 262-343-1795 prior to the Blessing date.

EMMAUS 90 - Christmas Edition & Full Edition
There will be two groups meeting weekly beginning January 19, 2025. No need to sign up, pick the group that works best for you and plan to attend.
- Group 1, led by Mary Mertz will meet in the Holy Trinity Gathering Space (basement of church) on Thursdays at 1:30 p.m. beginning January 23.
- Group 2, led by Gail Klassen in the St. Michael’s Parish Hall after the 9:00 a.m. Mass beginning Sunday, January 19.
The Emmaus 90 journey contains practical steps you can take to grow in your spiritual life and as disciples on a mission. The journal book you received includes journal pages for prayer with a daily Scripture, weekly formation sessions and more. Inside the front cover is a simple guide to help you learn to listen for God to speak through Scripture.
Our parishes no longer have the full Emmaus 90 book available, however, you are still able to register through the Archdiocese of Milwaukee: https://archmil.regfox.com/emmaus90-2025.
To receive the weekly communication from the Archdiocese, click on this link, provide your name, and email address: https://brewcitycatholic.flocknote.com/ After signing up, you will receive a link to verify your email.
Here is the direct link to view the live and previous formation sessions: https://www.archmil.org/evangelization/Eucharistic-Revival/Emmaus-90/Emmaus-90-Formation-Sessions-Videos-2025.htm
First Live Formation Session is January 2 – beginning with the Christmas Edition that was provided at all the Christmas Masses. If you haven’t received one, there are still a few available.

Sunday Readings
January is dedicated to the Holy Name of Jesus
Celebrate the Feast of the Holy Name of Jesus on January 3 by going to Mass or Eucharistic Adoration.
As you pray, try paying special attention to these words of the Our Father, “hallowed be Thy Name,” and purpose to live according to that teaching: helping to keep holy the name of God.
Bow your head when you hear the name Jesus, especially during the Sacred Mysteries of the Mass
Write his name on your house – literally! As Mary’s son is adored and worshiped by the three Wise Men, let us adore him, too. Literally write the name of Christ upon your house as you celebrate Epiphany! For the Feast of the Epiphany, it is beautiful to bless your home with the “CMB” written in chalk over your front door,
Daily ask for Mary and Joseph's intercession. The name of Jesus, which means Savior, was revealed to Joseph in a dream and to Our Lady at the Annunciation. Pray to Joseph and Mary to increase your love for their Son, along with your reverence for His Holy Name.
