Shout Outs from Parents & Students
Please use THIS LINK to provide a shout-out to a staff member who deserves a pat on the back!
Ms. Massey: Ms. Massey is being proactive in assisting my student with better time management. I appreciate her very much.
Ms. Harris Phillips: Ms. Harris, thank you for believing in the kids in your class and always focusing on their strengths! You call your students scholars and talked about how everyone of them brings positivity during curriculum night. I am sure they will shine in your guidance.
Digital Citizenship

Media Center Help Wanted!
The TRMS Media Center is looking for parent volunteers to help with shelving books. We need 1-2 parents for 30-60 minutes once a week to help us shelve books. Time of day is flexible, but mid-morning and late afternoon are preferable. Please contact Ms. Alarcon alarcon@fultonschools.org if you are interested in helping the media center.
September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month.
According to the CDC, suicide is among the leading causes of death for people ages 10-66 and is the second leading cause of death for young people ages 10-14. Despite being a leading cause of death, suicide it is preventable. During this month, our school will be drawing attention to the problem of suicide and advocating the prevention of this tragedy. We encourage our students and families to participate in Suicide Prevention Awareness Month. School Counselors and School Social Worker will be sharing resources and activities (such as our SOS Signs of Suicide Program) throughout September to bring awareness to suicide prevention. The awareness generated this month has the potential to have an enormous impact on our school community, even the chance to save a life.
Thank you for supporting this initiative and continuing the conversation at home with your students.
