The Wildcat Weekly
Crimson Point Elementary - April 5, 2024
Welcome Back, Wildcats! 🐾
Welcome back after what I hope was a fantastic spring break for you and your family! It's so great to have everyone back in the swing of things. We've got an exciting couple of months ahead of us, jam-packed with learning, growth, and fun new experiences for our students. From diving into new learning and reflecting on this year's growth, we're ready to make every moment count. As always, your support and involvement mean the world to us, so let's make the rest of this school year one to remember! Here's to a fantastic journey ahead!
Spring Safety Drills
The Kuna School District and the staff at Crimson Point Elementary School strive to ensure that our students are safe. To address student safety, we have one fire drill each month and at least 2 lock down drills that are required each school year. We'll be having our second lock down drill soon and have been preparing students for that this week. During the drills, we work closely with local law enforcement and fire authorities to evaluate our emergency operations plans and improve our response skills. We encourage parents to talk with their children about these safety drills and we welcome any questions you may have. Please contact the Crimson Point office if you have any questions.

The window for teacher requests will be open from April 15th to April 26th. You'll find the link to fill out the request form on our Crimson Point website starting April 15th, and I'll also include it in the newsletter during the open window. We understand how important it is for your child to have the best possible learning experience, and will take each request into careful consideration as we begin our class placement process for the upcoming school year. So mark your calendars, keep an eye out for the link, and let's work together to make the next school year a great one for your child!
Open Enrollment 24-25
Don't forget to fill out your Open Enrollment Form for the 24-25 school year! If your child attends Crimson Point and is not zoned for our school, you will need to fill out the Open Enrollment application each year. Feel free to call the office if you have any questions!
