A Message from Our Principal
Dear Farnham Families,
It has been one hot week! Our Falcons earned extra recess this week for filling up our Falcon nest with our falcon "eggs." Students, classes, and grade levels earn eggs to add to the nest by showing respect, making good decisions, and solving problems. Stay tuned for our next all school reward... they are busy filling it back up!
I would like to recognize Farnham's Student of the Month, Claire C. from Ms. Loyd's class. She was recognized at our recent Board Meeting for being a dedicated and hard-working student who consistently strives for success in all her academic pursuits and achievements inside and outside the classroom, giving her best effort every day.
Thank you to those who have donated to our Giving Campaign. These funds help Farnham's Home and School Club (HSC) to provide things like student field trips, in-class programs, support our art, garden, and Falcon Fab Lab, and student assemblies, just to mention a few! These experiences are something that is possible only through your support of the Giving Program.
For those of you who have already given, thank you! For those of you who haven't yet had a chance to do so, I highly encourage you to consider supporting Farnham School through a donation. Our goal is to have every family donate whatever amount you can contribute.
Remember that we will have minimum days all next week for our Goal Setting Conferences and don't forget to visit the Farnham Book Fair and consider volunteering to help our fearless Book Fair organizer, Karma Dias.
I look forward to seeing you at our Home and School Club Meeting next Tuesday, October 8th at 6:00pm in the Farnham Library.
Be well,
Amy O’Hehir
Principal, Farnham Elementary

Farnham's Bike Rodeo Friday, Oct . 18th
October 18th after school is the SJDoT’s Bike Rodeo program. This is optional and requires parental/guardian presence/supervision. This event will take place from 2:50-4:20 pm.
A bike rodeo is a bicycle skills event which provides an opportunity for bicyclists to practice and develop skills that will help them to become better bicyclists and avoid typical crashes.
No permission slip is needed, but we do require that a parent or guardian be present during the time that their child(ren) are participating. Students need to bring their own bike and helmet. If they do not have a helmet, we will have a limited supply on hand to provide for these students.
Please RSVP through this link: https://forms.gle/Mn2unKHhT2aMKQyv8. You can also sign up your student on arrival at the bike rodeo. However, the RSVP list gives the program leads an idea of how many students will be participating.
