Garden Club Date Change

Garden Club will be changed to the 4th Thursday of the month starting this week from 3:15-4:00 pm. Students staying past 4 will be checked into Extended Care in the library.

Trunk or Treat Oct. 31 10am

We are limiting to 20 cars due to parking lot spacing and will be locking the parking lot gates. If you are planning to come watch, without decorating your car, you may park outside the gates. Thank you.

Safe Halloween Oct. 31 5-8pm

5th grade fundraiser for Science Camp. Open to everyone. Come in costume! Games and food are available. We still need volunteers to help. You do not need to be a 5th grade parent to earn your volunteer hours at this event.

Halloween Costume Rules

Before you purchase your costumes, keep in mind our handbook rules (pg. 66): Costumes are not to be scary, violent, or bloody. They should be appropriate in nature and non-revealing. Masks may be brought to school, but are only allowed to be worn during the school parade and not in the classrooms or at recess time. Non-Uniform dress code still applies

Please drop off lunches in the office

We have had a few parents meeting students at the cafeteria doors with lunches. In order to keep our students safe, we kindly ask that ALL lunches be dropped off at the school office.

Conference Week & Minimum Days 10/31 - 11/4

Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held the week of October 31 through November 4. These will also be minimum days to allow for meetings after school. You should start hearing from teachers within the next 10 days to set up meetings for you child(ren).

St. Anthony's Education Foundation Table Setting Nov. 5

Once again St. Anthony's Education Foundation will be holding their Table Setting. Our fundraiser will be held on Sat. Nov. 5th 11:00am in the school gym.

We are looking for individuals (hostesses) who would like to set s table. Participation hours can be earned. For more information, please contact Mrs. K at pam.kelechenyi@sasmanteca.org or stop by the office on Wednesday mornings between 8 and 9.

Tickets will be available soon. Cost $25 for a delicious catered lunch and appetizers.

NO on Prop 1

CATHOLICS UNITED TO PROTECT AND SUPPORT WOMEN, CHILDREN AND FAMILIES

Proposition 1 is a worst-case scenario for abortion in

California. It is an expensive and misleading ballot measure that allows unlimited late-term abortions — for any reason, at any time, even moments before birth, paid for by tax dollars.

Prop 1 isn’t needed. Sadly, California already has some of the most permissive abortion laws in the nation, but with

reasonable limits on late-term abortions — which will still be allowed without the amendment for the life and health of the mother.

Prop 1 destroys this common-sense limit.

California does not limit state spending on abortion, and with thousands more traveling from other states, the cost will be in the hundreds of millions.

Don’t hand lawmakers a blank check to pay for abortions, and don’t let them make California an “abortion sanctuary.”

Scrip

100% of the profit you earn will be applied as a tuition credit for the following school year.

Please email scrip at scrip@sasmanteca.org to place your scrip order or call the school office. Remember to include a contact number. Any items we do not have in stock will automatically be put on backorder unless otherwise stated by you.

Please do not order physical cards through RaiseRight. If you would like physical cards please obtain them from our scrip office.

The online RaiseRight program is an excellent way to earn your Scrip profit on the go! ALL physical cards must be ordered through our Scrip office.

Refer a Family - Earn one-month Free Tuition

Refer a new family, K-8, (Preschool/PreK classes do not qualify) to St. Anthony's Catholic School, once the family is enrolled - you earn one month's tuition credit to be applied to your FACTS account. The more families you refer, the more credit you earn! The free month of tuition is applied after the new incoming family has been enrolled for a trimester.

*Families MUST include your name in the referral section of the application to ensure you receive credit.

Saint Mary's has officially restarted our Shadow-a-Ram program! For years, we have given prospective students an opportunity to experience a day in the shoes of a Saint Mary's Ram. Our Shadow Program is one of the best ways to answer all the questions your student has about attending our wonderful institution.
