Principal's Message
Dear Bannes Families,
February is here, and we are so proud of the hard work our students continue to show! We recently completed our benchmark testing and data meetings, and it’s wonderful to see the growth our students are making. Their dedication and effort are truly paying off!
A huge thank you to everyone who attended Math Night—it was a fantastic event! It was wonderful to see families engaging in learning together, and we truly value the home-school connection. Your support at home makes a tremendous impact on student success, whether through reading together, practicing math facts, or simply encouraging a love of learning.
We also want to give a special shoutout to our Bannes PTO for continuing to organize events that bring our school community together. Their dedication to creating fun and meaningful experiences for our students and families is truly appreciated!
Looking ahead, we have a half day on Wednesday, February 7, with early dismissal for students. Our Valentine’s Day parties will be on Wednesday, February 14, from 1:00-2:00 PM, and classroom teachers will notify families if they are selected as volunteers.
Thank you for your continued partnership in making Bannes a great place to learn and grow! We appreciate all you do to support our students and staff.

This unified communications platform is designed to keep parents and guardians informed and encourages greater engagement and connection with the District. Families can choose their language preference and indicate how and when they want to receive information (email, text, and/or app notifications).
We encourage parents to access their accounts so they can download the mobile app and update their preferences on when and how they are notified.

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and we have the sweetest fundraiser to make your celebration even more special! The Bannes PTO is offering Valentine Cookie Kits for only $10!
Each kit includes:
8 delicious cookies 3 colorful icings &
Fun sprinkles for extra sparkle and flavor!
This year’s kit is even better than last year’s, with extra cookies and more fun decorating supplies!

Send your payment to school – either exact cash or a check made payable to Bannes PTO. Include your child’s name and classroom on the envelope.
Hurry – orders are due by 2 pm on Wednesday, February 5, 2025!
Important: This year, we’re going digital! Orders are online only, so no paper flyers – just fill out the form and get ready for some cookie decorating fun!
