WAPA will only perform at USF for Juneteenth
This Saturday, June 15th 12noon
In celebration of Juneteenth also called Emancipation Day or Juneteenth Independence Day, is a holiday commemorating the end of slavery. This celebration is a FREE event for the entire family. Students can wear African attire or a Juneteenth t-shirt with blue/black jeans, slacks or skirt. Students will need to arrive by 11am.
We will be performing the following songs, "Lift Every Voice & Sing", "I'm A Believer" & "Hero".

1st Engagement
WAPA has been invited to sing Lift Every Voice & Sing for a Torch Lighting Ceremony to kick-off Omega Psi Phi Fraternity National Conclave at the Tampa Convention Center Sail Plaza (the circular driveway of the Convention Center)
Date: Wednesday, June 26th
Time: 5pm, students should arrive by 4:30pm
Attire: black slacks/jeans/skirt and white top/polo/tshirt/WAPA polo
2nd Engagement
Location: Curtis Hixon Park (Omega Mixer at the Park 12-6pm)
Date: Friday, June 28th
Time: 2pm, students should arrive by 1pm
Attire: purple spirit shirt and blue jean shorts, pants or skirt
