Pop Show is this upcoming Thursday! Each choir is working hard for a super fun night of music. Below you will find information for all Pop Show details.

Solo Tech Rehearsal - Monday, May 6 3-5 PM

This rehearsal is Mandatory for all students who are singing a solo/duet for Pop Show. You can find this list HERE.

Tech Rehearsal - Wednesday, May 8 3-5 PM

This is a MANDATORY major grade for all choir students. All students will meet in the auditorium. We will begin with large group songs. You can leave once we dismiss your group.

Performance - Thursday, May 9 7 PM

Call time is 6:30 PM in the KHS auditorium and students must be in their seats/spots by 6:40 PM. Our Booster club will have a brief meeting at before the show begins. Our Booster Club will also sell concessions on Main Street. However, NO FOOD OR DRINK is allowed in the KHS auditorium. Thank you for supporting our Booster Club and respecting our Auditorium.

What To Wear

• Pop show t-shirt (will be distributed on Wednesday's Tech Rehearsal)
• Jeans (little to no holes)
• Closed-toed shoes (no crocs)

Thank you to the many students and parents who have donated items for our Pop Show Raffle Baskets & Concessions. If you haven't claimed an item to donate, there is still time to help! We will accept raffle basket items until Monday, May 6. You can access the sign-up genius link button below.

These raffle baskets can be a great fundraiser for our booster club to help cover the cost of our banquet and upcoming senior scholarships. Please share the word and encourage people to attend Pop Show and purchase raffle tickets to win some great baskets! Raffle tickets can be purchased before the show and during intermission.

Our Booster Club is putting together a fantastic choir banquet as we look to celebrate the school year. Our banquet will be in the KHS Cafeteria on Wednesday, May 15. We would love to see all of our students attend this event. Our banquet will include dinner, awards, presentations, slide shows, 24-25 officers' results, a photo booth, and dancing! Tickets are $25. Cash and checks are accepted in class. Checks payable to Klein Choir Booster Club. All tickets must be purchased by Monday, May 13.

Auditions are well underway and we plan on continuing them as needed throughout the next 2 weeks in class/finals. For those auditioning for Chorale, your signed/initialed contract was due today in class. If you still need to turn in a contract, please e-mail a signed PDF to Mr. Stultz this weekend (sstultz1@kleinisd.net).

Congratulations to the MANY students who auditioned for Chamber. Yet again, we had a very competitive pool of candidates to consider when putting our callback list together. We will share the callback list with info later this week via Remind.

Students, if you would like an additional resource to practice sight reading, don't forget to look around on sightreadingfactory.com. This was covered in class earlier last week.

Current freshmen, sophomores, and juniors, if you plan on doing the all-state process next year (go for it!), it's time to start finalizing plans to attend a camp over the summer. Click the button below for more information. Feel free to share this info with any incoming freshman as well who want to do the All-State process!

The Doerre Intermediate campus is currently under construction. This includes the choir room! As construction ramps up into the summer, the Doerre choir room needs to be packed up by the end of next week. Ms. Amandola is asking for any Klein High Choir students to come by next week to help pack up the choir room. Below are the available times.
