UIL Academic Competition at Coppell Middle School West
Attention current 7th graders! If you are NOT currently a member of National Junior Honor Society and interested in becoming a member, applications for membership will be available on Monday, March 25, 2024. The last day to return applications will be Friday, April 5, 2024.
To become a member, students must successfully pass 4 levels of evaluation:
Level 1: 92 or higher cumulative GPA in core classes based on the average of the first 3 quarters and participate in at least ONE Honors Core Class.
Level 2: Application completion by the given deadline.
Level 3: Faculty evaluation.
Level 4: Review of information gathered in Level 2 and approval of the faculty board.

Wednesday, March 27: Invitational contest hosted onsite at AMS and SGC. Students will be called from class to participate in contests (except speaking events).
- Saturday, April 13: District Contest at Coppell Middle School West, 2701 Ranch Trail, Coppell, Texas, 75019. Buses will load at AMS at 6:20 AM and depart for Coppell at 6:30 AM. Be sure to sign and return the permission slip for your student to attend here.
