The Eagle's Nest
May 3, 2024
Good afternoon Eagle families, students, staff, and community!
Middle School 2024-2025
Dr. Andrade emailed families additional information about the school boundary lines for the three middle schools that take effect with the start of the new school year. In August, McCarthy Middle School will open for the first time and join Fairgrounds Middle and Pennichuck Middle Schools to serve our students in grades 6, 7, and 8. With the closing of Elm Street Middle School, attendance boundary lines have changed for many students.
It’s important that we confirm your address or moving address so that you can be part of the correct middle school community. To confirm middle school attendance, please click here for the redistricting map. Fill in the red search field in the upper left corner of the map with your address and click on the highlighted address to initiate location. Neighborhoods are shaded in the attending school colors: Fairgrounds Middle is green, McCarthy Middle is red, and Pennichuck Middle is blue.
Chromebooks
To help prepare for the move, all students will have their chromebooks collected starting the week of June 3. Each student needs to return the chromebook that was assigned to them. If there has been purposeful damage, excessive (purposeful) wear and tear, or it has been lost, then the user agreement that was signed at the beginning of the year will be referenced and a fee may be assessed.
If you're reading this and panicked, please don't! Throughout the course of the year, we have spot checked students' chromebooks and documented losts, founds, and damaged items. If your child doesn't know where his chromebook is, (unlikely), they have some time to sort that before June third.
