St. Charles County Library Storybook Walk
The Storybook Walk provides a new outdoor adventure that champions family connection, early childhood development, and health and wellness. Stories are hand-picked by library staff with a child’s enjoyment in mind. Pages are posted at several stations along a trail, allowing families and friends to enjoy a story as they walk the path and take in the scenery.
New stories are featured frequently so that the fun continues year-round. Take a walk with us and read a new story each month at the locations listed here.
A Note on In-Home Visits
Home visits are a vital aspect of supporting families, and Parent Educators work incredibly hard to plan your personalized home visits. Please let us know if, due to illness, or life's other demands, you need to reschedule an in-person visit. We will gladly accommodate your family's needs by changing your in-person visit to a virtual or phone visit. While we understand that life happens and rescheduling can be a part of that, please know that your parent educators count on your visits. Virtual and/or phone visits allow us to maintain that connection in order to continue to offer the best support to your family!
