CJHS Family Connection

- Labor Day is Monday, September 2 - No school

- Please do not drive through the parking lot when dropping off/ picking up your student in the car lane

- Please do not pick up students in the bus lane during the times that buses are picking up and dropping off students

- Remember to view the revised early release schedule

- IXL If your student is receiving hours to complete due to STAAR scores please be looking for a letter to come home during the next week. It will contain all of the details for your student.

- Progress Reports will go home on September 5, 2024.

- Wednesdays are college shirt days (this includes military branches and trade schools)

Band- parents make sure you have joined the band app!

Cross Country- Congratulations to the JH Cross Country Teams on a job well done at the SA Patriots Invitational Meet this past Saturday. 12 out of 14 runners set new personal records! They will compete again Saturday, September 7, in Odem.

Football- Tuesday, September 10, Yoakum Scrimmage at Gobbler Stadium, 7th and 8th grade 6:00

Volleyball- Congratulations to CJH volleyball on their success against Howell middle school! 8A won 2-0 (2-0 record), 25-15, 25-22, 8B lost 0-2 (0-2 record), 15-25, 14-25, 7A won (2-0 record),

7B won (2-0 record), The next games will be Thursday, September 5, against Travis Middle School 8th grade will be at home with B team at 5:00 and A team at 6:00. 7th grade will be at Travis with B team starting at 5:00 and A team starting at 6:00.
