STEAM Classes
On Wednesday, January 15, our 7th Grade STEAM class had the pleasure of hosting Claudia Parker, owner of our local Scooter's Coffee! Claudia shared valuable insights about being a business owner, explaining the differences between franchise and independent businesses. Students also learned the importance of customer service, consistency, product knowledge, and effective advertising.
Dayton City School extends a big thank-you to Claudia and Scooter's Coffee for taking time out of a busy schedule to inspire our students!

Parent Teacher Conferences are COMING!
It is time for our annual PBIS Valentine's Dance for our middle school students in grades 6-8. The dance will take place in the new cafetorium on Friday, February 7 from 6-8 pm. Students must be dropped off and picked up at the front entrance of the cafetorium, not the school. Tickets will be sold for $5 each starting Monday, January 27. Students with suspensions and detentions will be unable to attend.

ONE WORD 2025
As we step into a new year filled with opportunities and possibilities, I challenge each family to choose one word to guide your journey through 2025. This word should inspire your goals, values, and aspirations as a family. Whether it's 'Gratitude,' 'Adventure,' 'Patience,' or 'Growth,' let this word become a theme that shapes your decisions and actions throughout the year. Share your word with us if you'd like, and let's make 2025 a year to remember—together!
