EAT DINNER WITH US!
Over 40 years, Linworth hosts the annual Chili Supper the Tuesday night before Thanksgiving. At this event, all Linworth families, as well as staff and alumni, are invited for a gigantic pot luck dinner.
When: Next Tuesday, November 26, 6:00-8:00 p.m.
What We Do: We’ll provide several pots of various chili types, including a vegetarian option. We’ll have bowls, plates, utensils, cheese, sour cream, jalapenos, and volunteer-provided rice, muffins, and drinks.
What You Do: 1. Show up and enjoy some chili.
2. Bring a shareable side dish (A-L) or dessert (M-Z).
3. Volunteer here if you’d like.
Why: Thanksgiving is a great time for family and friends to get together. Many graduates are in town. At Linworth, COMMUNITY is not just the people in the building daily, but families, alumni, and neighbors. The annual Chili Supper is a time to celebrate all of the joys of COMMUNITY.
That night, there will be voluntary donation cans and QR codes for people who would like to contribute to Parent Board, the Linworth parent organization for all families. There is also an online Silent Auction to support the Experience Fund, which helps finance experiential opportunities, like Walkabout.

"Newt Loot" Direct Drive Results
On Friday, November 15th we wrapped up our first ever Newt Loot Direct Drive. Collectively we raised $10,855, with a total amount of $10,449.81 coming to us after platform fees. Current families contributed almost 75% of the total, and alumni contributed just over 25%, which will be used to support current and future students in their experiential education through initiatives such as Walkabout Scholarships.
Our Parent Board Officers want to extend our gratitude to everyone who contributed and promoted the direct drive. We more than met our goal and are thankful to be able to support our Linworth community through your collective generosity.
The Linworth Alumni Partnership wants to thank alumni for continuing to show up and support the school we all love so much.
