School Development Surveys are conducted annually to gather feedback from students, staff, and parents/guardians to inform the school development process. The survey results will be provided to your child’s school and used with other data to identify the school’s strengths and challenges. Your child’s school will then create and implement a plan to build on successes and address areas of challenge.
The survey is anonymous, which means that we cannot connect your survey responses to you. We encourage everyone to participate so that we have the most accurate representation of family perceptions at your school.
The Family Survey will be available from February 24th - April 4th, 2025. Please complete the survey by clicking on the following link: https://ca.research.net/r/SDFamily2425EN. If you do not have internet access contact your school.

Term Two Report Cards will go home via students on Friday, March 21st. Family/Teacher Conferences will take place on Thursday, March 27 from 1:00 - 6:00 p.m. We will use the online program, OPTIS, again this year for booking appointments to meet your child’s teacher(s). Here is the link to the OPTIS website and all the instructions you will need. OPTIS will open for bookings on Thursday, March 20th at 10:00 a.m. and will close on Wednesday, March 26th at 10:00 a.m. Interview slots will be a 10 minute session. If you feel you need more time to meet with your child’s teacher, please reach out to the teacher and schedule an alternate time. Note that students will be dismissed at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 27th to accommodate the conferences.
We are so proud of our wonderful Grade Six students who graduated this past week from the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary's D.A.R.E (Drug Awareness Resistance Education) Program. This highly educational program filled with many lifelong lessons is provided to all of our Grade Six students in conjunction with the RNC and led by the amazing Constable Stephen Fitzgerald. Over the last few months our students have learned all about drug education, peer pressure, effective decision making, and making responsible and safe choices. The DDMM (Dare Decision Making Model) provides an excellent framework and lens to help our students navigate the challenges of the next few years of their teenage life and into their later life. We are very proud of all of our Grade Six students for successfully completing this program and for committing to being a responsible, kind and caring citizen.
