Firefly Families,

This past week has been a testament to the incredible community and support that makes Alyssa Ferguson so special.

On National Parent Involvement Day, we celebrated the vital role parents play in the success of our Fireflies. Your involvement in your children's education is invaluable and we are so grateful for your partnership.

Our spelling bee was an extraordinary event! After more than two hours of impressive spelling determination and courage we had a 1st place winner! Congratulations to all our participants for their hard work and perseverance -- we are proud of you!!

We captured memories during class picture day, preserving a snapshot for memories of this school year!

As we head into Thanksgiving break, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for our students, staff, families and community. I hope your break is a blessed one filled with rest, joy and some rest.

We look forward to seeing you when we return in December!

We welcome our families to come enjoy lunch with his/her Firefly!

• Guests will sit at the designated guest tables with the student they are visiting.

• Guests will only be allowed to eat with their Firefly when visiting for lunch.

• Guests will only be able to eat with their Firefly on designated days.

• Guests will be invited to exit the cafeteria during the start of the 5-minute quiet SEL moment.

✨ Hey Fireflies, burn off some energy at BOUNCE BOUNCE on Friday, December 6th!! 💙💛

Our 2nd Annual Polar Express Day will be on Thursday, December 19. The PTO will provide hot cocoa to ALL Fireflies as they enjoy the movie in their pajamas!

Please help us prepare for this magical day by dropping off your empty, labeled crockpot in the VIPS room by Monday, December 16.

If you'd like to help serve, stay tuned - a sign-up on Konstella will be coming soon!

Holiday parties will be here before we know it!

Pre-K - 4th Grade Students will be having parties in their classrooms. Volunteers will be required to help with the craft, game, and snack. All materials and food will be provided by the PTO.

5th Grade Students will be participating in the 2nd Annual Gingerbread House building contest in the cafeteria. All materials will be provided by the PTO.

2024 -2025 Meeting Dates

The PTO Board meets monthly at the dates and times listed below. Meetings at 12 pm will be held in person in the Extended Day Room. Meetings held at 7 pm will be on Google Meet.

Everyone is welcome and invited to join us. It is a great opportunity to hear what the PTO is doing and share ideas with us. The PTO Board will convene on the following dates:.
