November HES Newsletter
A Message From Mrs. Silva
Hello Bearcat Families,
Happy November!! November is such a wonderful month because it is the start of gratitude and spending time with family. I am thankful for many things, but one of the things that I am thankful for the most is having the opportunity to work in such an amazing district with all the amazing families. Thank you for allowing me and the HES staff to be a part of your lives.
Last month was such a great month. We celebrated Red Ribbon week. We all had a fun time dressing up and making sure that all students understood the dangers of drugs. Chief Nash talked to each grade level about safety and making good choices during this time of the year.
In addition to Red Ribbon week, all students had the opportunity to dress up in their Halloween costumes. It was so wonderful seeing all the students in their costumes and all the happy faces. We have some very creative families in our school!
Mrs. Thompson and Mrs. Brooke Mills did a wonderful job coordinating the Halloween parade. Thank you to all the families that donated candy. The students loved being able to receive candy at school.
Lastly, as we move into the holiday season, I hope you all have the opportunity to make special memories and enjoy your families.
