The last day of school is just around the corner—and it’s going to look a bit different this year! We’re planning three separate celebration slots per grade level throughout the day, and we’d love for you to join us. Parents are welcome to sign up for one or more time slots.

This May, during Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month, experience the rich history and resilience of Minnesota's Hmong community. Commemorating 50 years since their arrival, the "Of Distance and Time" exhibit presents moving portraits and stories of 37 Hmong women, captured by MN Zej Zog and photographer Richard Schultz.

Discover their journeys at this free event, hosted at the SoWashCo District Service Center on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 13-14, from 8 am to 8 pm each day. We invite everyone to witness this moving exhibition.

South Washington County Schools (SoWashCo Schools) offers activities and classes for youth through SoWashCo Community Education. Activities and classes are conveniently offered at your child's school, partner locations within our community and online.

Camp Invention Leader in Training, Grades 7-9

Leaders-in-Training (LITs) are at the center of fun challenges and creative STEM learning at Camp Invention! Middle schoolers become role models at Camp Invention, building leadership skills while guiding younger campers through fun, hands-on STEM challenges created by educators and inventors.
