For a first time PTA Fundraiser, the excitement certainly seems sky high from the children for the Colour Run. Don't forget it that a change of clothes and a towel are a must as the children are going to be very messy!

I'm reliably informed that today we have edged a little closer to the 30k target, which will potentially leave me with no escape from participating myself. I must admit, I am getting a bad feeling about this...

Another launch you can expect by tomorrow is sharing your child's goals in the HERO app (in the reports area). The aim is to offer you more insight into areas of focus for your child, and we hope you will find this area useful when talking with them about their learning.

Finally, I'd like to share with you a copy of the Board's 2024 Strategic Plan, and an overview of what's ahead for our learning community.

There are a number of exciting developments, and also examples of key projects we hope to deliver in the next couple of years on site. Please note, this Board 'wish-list' of projects does depend on the 'squeezed' financial climate we all find ourselves in, so delivery and timelines are 'to be confirmed' at this stage.

Nonetheless, you can have confidence that the Board will be working hard to achieve these goals alongside other investments.

You can also expect our usual commitment to maintaining funding for those areas we do not receive government funding for. This includes such areas as reduced class sizes, learning support/specialist staffing, library resources, technology and high quality curriculum resources, all of which we believe is essential to maintaining and building upon the quality education we consistently strive for here at MENPS.

All students are asked to wear school uniform to school on Friday 22nd March but bring a change of clothes for the Colour Run - wear clothes you don't mind getting messy!! White t-shirts and crazy dress ups encouraged! The PTA second hand shop has some white polos for sale on the morning of the event - $5 each.

Everyone who receives a donation this week will go into the draw to win the PTA 2024 Ice Block Award! This voucher will entitle the holder to a free ice block at every mid term and end of term PTA ice block sale for the rest of 2024!!! Winners announced daily
