What's Happening at Rees?
Rodeo Reading Challenge
We encourage all students and families to read more during the month of April as part of Spanish Fork Fiesta Days Rodeo Reading Challenge. Rees Elementary Eagles are the defending champions among the Spanish Fork schools and we want to keep that going. Our challenge is for students to read over 30 minutes each day at home and record your minutes on the blue calendar.

Counselor Corner
In April, we are going to focus on being life-long learners. "From a very young age, we express curiosity as we explore our world and build meaning for how things work. That curiosity does not go away as we get older. The joy of exploration (curiosity) is what makes children want to learn, according to Marilyn Price-Mitchell, PhD, at Psychology Today. Curious students will read, ask questions, seek out information, and more. They retain information better because they are genuinely interested, which helps them succeed in school. Not only does curiosity benefit students academically, but holistically as well." (In Focus)
