Parent/Caregiver Survey Results
Here are the top two areas in the Bridgewater Parent/Caregiver Survey on a 5 point scale:
4.54 I am treated with respect at this school
4.53 I believe the school is clean and well maintained
Here are the two lowest areas:
3.73 I receive positive phone calls, emails or notes about my child from school
3.81 I regularly receive feedback from school staff on how well my child is learning.
Action Item: There were many comments about parent-teacher conferences, and we have made changes for next year. We will hold conferences before school starts, in the fall and in the spring next year.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to complete the survey!

Recognizing that traditional learning methods may not work for everyone, our summer program provides a variety of alternative learning techniques and experiences tailored to individual student's needs. These approaches are designed to be different from what students experience during the regular school day and develop the whole child, not just academically. Summer Plus is designed as an optional academic support program for students that aims to develop academic, social and emotional skills. We strive to:
- foster a love for learning with a positive and encouraging environment
- teach literacy and math skills to prevent summer learning loss
- provide support they need to start the new school year successfully and remain in the traditional school system
The registration link was previously sent out to those invited to attend via Talking Points. If you need us to resend that link, please email Sarah VanSickle at svansickle@northfieldschools.org.
Update Contact Information
Moving to a new house, city or state? If you are planning to move over the summer, please contact the office with your updated information (507)-664-3300 or kseaberg@northfieldschools.org. This will help us when mailing important information and updating our records as well as planning for the 2024-2025 school year.
Teacher Placement
Teacher placement information will be sent out to parents via email by August 16th. Please know that this process takes many hours, and this is why parent input is asked for in April at the start of this project. Changes requested in August will not be honored except for extenuating circumstances. Thank you for understanding!
