Saturday Ross Holiday Festival & Tree Sale
We hope you're getting excited for this weekend's Holiday Festival and Tree Sale! Thank you to everyone who has stepped up to volunteer and donate baked goods! And if you haven't raised your hand yet, it's not too late :)
These are important fundraising events for Ross and fun, festive, community-building activities for our school, Ross families, and our neighbors. We hope you'll stop by to enjoy the fun!
When: This Saturday (Holiday Festival & Tree Sale) and Sunday (Tree Sale only)
Where: On the Ross field and playground
How You can Help:
- Saturday Bake Sale: Sign-up to donate baked goods or staff the sale -- we especially need help staffing from 2-4pm! And if anyone has carafes we could borrow for hot chocolate, that would be a huge help (contact PTApresident@rosselementary.org).
- Tree Sale: We still need help with tree deliveries this Sunday! If you're able to volunteer yourself and your SUV/truck for a couple of hours, please sign up here.
- Buy your tree or wreath from Ross! They're going fast, so pre-order here to reserve yours!
- Share this link and the flyer attached below to spread the word among local friends, family, and neighbors!
Questions? Email PTApresident@rosselementary.org.
Saturday (Dec 3) Holiday Festival Activities:
In addition, we will have representatives from our two middle school feeders at Ross from 9-10:30AM to chat with parents:
- Shanna Young, Principal from Francis Stevens
- Meron Estefanos, School Counselor from Cardozo Education Campus
Bake Sale (9-4pm)
The Bake Sale will be held Sat Dec 3, 9am to 4pm. It's not too late to donate baked goods or staff the sale!
For those donating baked goods: Please drop off at Ross (main gate) on Fri, Dec 2nd (8:15-9:00am or 3:15-3:45pm) or first thing Sat morning at the Bake Sale table. Baked goods should be packaged and ready for sale.
If needed, pick up boxes and bags for packaging at Ross on Friday morning.
Please label anything with nuts and note dietary accommodations (gluten free, vegan, etc.).
Questions? Contact PTApresident@rosselementary.org.
MK Volunteer Project (10am-Noon)
Ross students will pack bags of supplies (like hats, gloves, etc.) for the Miriam's Kitchen outreach team. Thanks to everyone who donated supplies -- we have enough to make 150 bags!
Sign up your kids to volunteer here (limited to 20 per shift)!
Please drop off donated supplies in the box labeled "Miriam's Kitchen" just outside Ms. Segovia's office in the basement at Ross. Or bring them to the Ross cafeteria by 9:30am on Saturday.
Decorate Holiday Ornaments (1-3pm)
After you pick out your holiday tree and wreath, stop by to create your own unique decoration!
