THE STRENGTH OF THE WOLF IS ITS PACK
Wasco Weekly
November 15, 2024
Wasco Families,
We have had many visitors to our school lately, which is a fantastic learning opportunity for our kids! On Monday, at our Veterans Day Assembly, Retired Lieutenant Colonel Chaplain Carl Krueger was our guest speaker. He explained the branches of the military and how to fuel jets midair. A very special moment was the Lieutenant leading our Veterans in the Oath of Enlistment. The moment touched us all deeply.
Here are student quotes about what they liked about the Veterans Day Assembly:
-”Meeting the Veterans”
-”Listening to the choir and orchestra play together”
-”Learning how to fuel a fighter jet in the air”
-”The guitar player”
Thank you Veterans for giving your time to Wasco school and creating a moment that will last in our hearts for a very long time.
Kind Regards,
Mrs. Brennan

The map below displays how Wasco organizes dismissal for car riders. We will be directing students to wait on our “front lawn” for their ride. If they see their families' vehicle, they can walk along the sidewalk and enter the stopped vehicle. If you would like to leave your car to pick up your child, you are free to park in the lot.
You can save this as a handy reference for your caregivers or visiting family members who do pick up as well!

This week our school participated in the annual WSSA World Record STACK UP! event! The World Record attempt is for the “Most People Sport Stacking at Multiple Locations”. The goal was to beat 746,698 people Sport/Cup Stacking. Your child was counted in this RECORD BREAKING ATTEMPT! We will have the final results in a few weeks. Also, if you are looking for a special gift for the upcoming holiday season, consider a set of stacking cups!
