CIS Weekly Updates
2024-2025: #1 August 26 - 30, 2024
#8: October 14-18, 2024
PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
We have two weeks left in the first quarter. The quarter officially ends on Friday, October 25th. We encourage students to finish strong by working hard to complete all assignments. This year, we will not send paper reports home to all students. If you would like to request a paper copy of the report card, please contact our main office. This change is consistent with the rest of the school district.
Next week, we will have a Red Ribbon spirit week. Our spirit week is a fun way to bring awareness to living a drug-free lifestyle. You can see each day's theme down below. The week will end with our character dress-up day on Friday. We ask that students not bring masks, accessories or apply face paint. We also ask that students not wear inflatable costumes. Thank you for your understanding.
WE NEED YOUR HELP! We are currently having a design contest for our CIS t-shirt. Students are invited to submit their designs, and once we select a design, we will be ordering shirts for all students and staff. Each student will need to know their shirt size. If you could talk to your student about the appropriate size and have him/her record it in their student planner then that would be a big help. *Shirts tend to be slightly smaller than expected. We recommend you choose YL, YXL, AS, AM, AL, AXL, or AXXL.
Have an AMAZING Week!
