March is Women’s History Month, a time to recognize and celebrate the contributions of women throughout history and in our communities today. The theme for Women's History Month in 2025 is “Moving Forward Together! Women Educating & Inspiring Generations”. This theme recognizes the impact of women who have dedicated their lives to leadership, education, and mentorship.

Irish American Heritage Month is celebrated in March to honor the contributions of Irish Americans to the United States. The month also takes place around St. Patrick's Day.

Ramadan is considered one of the holiest months of the year for Muslims. It is a month of intense spiritual rejuvenation with a heightened focus on devotion, during which Muslims spend extra time reading the Qur’an and performing special prayers. In the United States, Ramadan will likely begin on the evening of February 28, 2025, with the first fast observed on March 1, 2025.

Under very specific conditions, water can boil and freeze at the same time, a phenomenon called the "triple point" where all three states of matter (solid, liquid, and gas) coexist in equilibrium, which occurs at a precise temperature and pressure combination; for water, this is around 0.01°C and 0.006 atmospheres of pressure.
