On Friday, the WHS Student Council had the pleasure of providing lunch and serving at the Senior Citizens Center. They prepared chicken & dumplings and made desserts. More than one of them told me how much they enjoyed it! They plan to go back soon! Thank you to each of them for volunteering their time and serving!

Our Wynnewood basketball teams had five players selected for the Quad County All-Conference Team! Olivia White, Trinity Dotson, and Addie Rozzell were selected from the Lady Savage squad. Julian Givens and Blake Holman were selected from the boys team. Congratulations!

The Oklahoma Department of Aerospace and Aeronautics in partnership with the Oklahoma Aerospace Institute for Research and Education (OAIRE) hosted AOPA “You Can Fly” educators at Oklahoma State University this weekend for a UAS drone build symposium. Our very own, Ms. Callaway was part of this event! She will bring new skills back to our WHS students! We look forward to watching them fly the drone that she was able to build, also!

The next Wynnewood High School blood drive is on March 6. If we beat our goal by 10%, we will be able to pay it forward and support a local charity. We have chosen Restored Hearts and Soles. Get signed up through any NHS member or the QR codes found on the posters. If you are 16, you need the permission slip found in the office. The community is invited and we hope to see you Wednesday!
