Week of June 16, 2025

It’s hard to find the right words to wrap up a year like this one. As I finish this end-of-year EduGATOR, I just want to say thank you. Thank you for putting your whole heart and soul into your role for our students. I love how most days, we can still find some time and space to laugh and have fun, even though the work is challenging. Thank you for trusting me and working alongside of me to move the district forward--we've done some awesome work together. It’s been an absolute privilege to work with you.

I’ve learned so much here and have so much respect for the way we all pull together. Gateway is a special place because of the people, and I’ll always be grateful to have been part of this district.

I'll still be around through August assisting with the transition, so please reach out if anything comes up. Please take time this summer to rest and recharge. And PLEASE do not be a stranger. I live right around the corner, so I'm expecting that I will see you around and get the chance to catch up. I'm looking forward to hearing all about the awesome work that you will continue to do. 💙💛

Please stop by on Monday, June 16 anytime from 2:00–4:00pm at the Central Office as we gather to celebrate the incredible contributions of Deb Kuhn and Steph Fisk ahead of their well-earned retirements.

Deb and Steph have each made a lasting impact on our district through their dedication, integrity, professionalism, and care for our school community. This is a chance for all of us to come together to share our gratitude, well wishes, and a few stories with two people who have truly shaped the heart of Gateway.

Superintendent Search Process-Staff Interest Form

The school committee is in the process of determining the sub-committee to hire the new Superintendent for Gateway Regional School District. The Superintendent may be appointed as an interim or may be a permanent hire. Please complete the form below to indicate your interest in participating in the search process. The subcommittee may select staff representatives to assist with the search process. If you are not interested, then you do not need to fill out the form.

PRISM Team - June Work Day?

If you are on the PRISM team, please check your email from Deanna and reply to the inquiry about a (paid) June summer work day.

Annual Town Meetings-BUDGET APPROVED :)

Our FY26 budget is approved! Per our regional agreement, we need four towns to approve our budget to move it forward. As of Monday, all five towns that have held their town meetings have approved! :) Huntington still has their town meeting next Monday, June 23.

If you live in the Gateway District, please consider attending your annual town meeting. This is an important meeting to vote on a number of town related matters, including the school budget! I personally love to see democracy at it's finest. Everyone gets a vote and every voice is heard!
