Over spring break, the WHS band partnered with the Iron Mountain High School Band for a once in a lifetime trip to Disney. Aside from the 25 hour bus ride, the students had a great time and had a fantastic experience. Below are some pictures from their trip.

Attention, Parents, Guardians and Families - State-mandated SAT, PSAT and ACT WorkKeys testing for students will be held on the following dates:

Wednesday April 10th - SAT

• students will be dismissed after testing

Thursday, April 11th - ACT Workkeys

Friday, April 12th - MSTEP Science and Social Studies

Please keep the following guidelines in mind:

* Attendance on these days is required
* No electronic devices (phones, smart watches, Fitbits, tablets, etc.) are allowed in the testing sessions; all devices will be collected until the end of the testing session
* Please make sure your student gets a good night’s rest
* Please make sure students arrive at school on this day no later than 7:55 a.m.

The SAT is important for college admissions. It also influences access to merit-based scholarships and reinforces essential high school curriculum knowledge. Furthermore, some employers may consider SAT scores, emphasizing the test's role beyond college admissions in demonstrating analytical and problem-solving skills valued in various careers. Therefore, the SAT serves as a significant determinant of students' future educational and professional opportunities. Thanks for doing your part to help put our kids in the best possible position to succeed.

*All sophomores will be taking the PSAT 10 on Thursday, April 17th.

*All Freshmen will be taking the PSAT 8/9 on Wednesday, April 16th.

Seniors Last Day and Senior Breakfast - Friday May 24th at 8:30 am in the cafeteria

Graduation Practice - Wednesday, May 29th at 1:00 pm in the WHS Gym.

Graduation - Thursday, May 30th at 7:00pm in the WHS Gym
