The Weekly Update #4

We hope that you are having a wonderful summer with family and friends! Plum Grove Middle School is a busy place with construction, registration, scheduling, and staffing. The construction crew is on schedule with the many projects to transform our building from a junior high to a middle school. The office is busy as they work on new enrollments and transferring information into our school for our new sixth and seventh grade students. The administration team is fine tuning schedules, working on staffing for the next school year and preparing for the opening of school in September.

We want to take a moment to introduce the administrative team at Plum Grove Middle School. We are all here to support all our students and families. We hope to connect with our families throughout the year at the school and at different events. If you have any questions you can always call the school office or email us directly.

Our PTA executive board will be meeting in the summer to plan for the upcoming school year. There are opportunities for parents/guardians to volunteer. If you are interested in working with our PTA please contact them at plumgrovepta@gmail.com

Our school supply list can be located on our website. Each middle school student will be provided a planner on their first day of school.

Below are some key dates for families for the upcoming 2025-205 school year.

• August 19th- Schedules Available Through Infinite Campus at 5:00 p.m.
• September 3rd-Walk Your Schedule 12:45-1:45
• September 5th-First Day Of School
• September 26th-Half Day Of Student Attendance

Our school nurse prepared a letter with some key information for parents in regards to required physicals, and immunizations. This information can also be found on our district's webpage.

Please note that if your child wishes to tryout for one of our competitive sport teams they will need to have a current physicals on file with the school nurse. Physicals are valid for 13 months.
