🎓 Senior Trip Committee
Mrs. Carter is looking to create a senior trip committee to help establish guidelines for senior trips. Feedback from parents and the community is extremely important in this decision making process which may include the amount of money spent, locations to travel, etc. Currently we would like at least one parent from each grade level. We would like to schedule a meeting with the committee ASAP so the agreed upon plan can be communicated with senior students and advisors. For more information please contact Mrs. Carter.

FFA Updates
FFA has been putting in a lot of hard work as they prepare for competitions and nationals. A lot of learning has been taking place for our younger FFA members who got to wear their FFA jacket for the first time. The high school FFA members are gearing up for nationals in Indianapolis the week of October 21st. Great job and way to represent Hansen! We are excited to help celebrate your experience and successes!
🦅 CSI Supporting Student Activity Involvement
This last week the College of Southern Idaho women's basketball and volleyball teams came out to talk with our students about getting involved in activities whether it is athletics or student clubs and organizations. The athletes from the college gave great insight on the importance of being actively involved as well as the benefits- short term and long term- that come from joining an activity. We look forward to seeing participation rates grow within our school and district. Thank you again, CSI, for coming out and helping support our students!
✅ Protocols for Addressing Concerns
Our Building Leadership Team has created a protocol flow chart that students, parents, staff, and community members may follow when addressing concerns. We have established three different flow charts: one for student activities such as BPA, FFA, NHS, and Student Government; one for students that participate in athletics; and one for general concerns that directly relate to the school which could include classroom and building level concerns. Please follow the link below to access the flowcharts. This information is also found on the Jr/Sr High School website.
