Hello Main Street Family!

Join us Thursday, January 23rd @ 6 PM for our PTO Meeting. Your voice matters! Join us as we discuss

Our students participated in classroom Spelling Bees. The winners from each classroom will advance to our Schoolwide Spelling Bee this Friday!

The second marking period ends January 24, 2025. Ensure your students have completed all necessary assignments and projects.

Please take advantage of the parent opportunities listed below.

Our yearly goal for average attendance is 95%. We slightly increased to 91.2% this week. We must continue to move in an upward direction!! We can do it!! Send your child to school every day! They enjoy hearing their homerooms shouted out for perfect attendance!!

Finally, if your student participates in any Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Day of service activities,

please send in a photo. They will be highlighted in next week's newsletter.

Our students will be gifted another free coat! More information will be sent home with your students this week.

Parents and Guardians:

Chromebooks or other technological devices are used in class for students to complete assignments and assessments.. Students may not download games, wallpapers or participate in video group discussions. Improper use of technology could result in the student losing privileges of using the school's device.

The Upland Borough Police Department and Upland Borough DELCO PA Mayor Michael Dennis participated in our Philadelphia Eagles Pep Rally, donating soft pretzels for all of our scholars and bringing a band to play the Eagles Fight Song. The scholars

Parents:

Please refrain from making u turns in the car line during dismissal. The safety of our children and parents is of utmost importance to us. We would like to move the cars through the line without any disruptions.

It is important your child(ren) attend school every day. The chart below indicates how much instruction your child(ren) will miss if they are not present.

PTO meetings will meet the second Thursday of the month. Our next PTO meeting will be Thursday, January 23, 2025.

The items in our lost and found is growing. Please have your children retrieve their items. All items not claimed by report card conferences will be donated to Goodwill.
