• Winter Snowball Dance sponsored by the Humanitarians of Holicong - We hope you can join us this Friday night at Holicong for our winter semi-formal dance! You can purchase tickets at My Payments Plus for $10 (or at the door). Our dance this year will also act as a fundraiser and support our partnership with Next Step as they look to provide housing & employment opportunities for adults with special needs in our local community.

• Holicong Cheerleading - SHOUT OUT to our cheerleading team and coaches for their hard work all season which resulted in a 1st place finish at the CB South Titan Throwdown! This is a BIG DEAL and they should be recognized for this accomplishment!

• YEARBOOKS ON SALE - Ms. Demuro and the yearbook team have been working hard on the yearbook and you can purchase one now on My Payments Plus! Please get yours now - Parent Resources / My Payments Plus.a

• 7th Grade Program Planning - Thanks to Mrs. Louderback for her presentation this week about the program planning process. We hope our 7th grade parents and guardians can join us at our next Parent Council meeting as we will review this with them and answer any questions!

• FLEXIBLE INSTRUCTION DAYS (FID) - Flexible Instructional Day (FID) / Home - Now that we have had our 1st snow day of the year all futures snow days will be in this format. Please take a moment to review as a family!

• Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) (pa.gov) – Link to application and resources to learn more about this program.

• COLONIAL CORES & EXPECTATIONS – It was a great first week with students as we reviewed basic overview of expectations, policies, and procedures and following up this week as noted above. We have created the Colonial Core page on our website for our community to access the overview of the Colonial Cores and what we teach and the expectations we have for students and all of us in a variety of settings. We will continue to model and revisit these throughout the year!

Student Services Department / 9th to 10th Grade Program Planning

Homebase for all things program planning!

We are continuing to encourage students to make sure they have registered for our 9th grade field trip to NYC on May 19th. We are also looking for parent volunteers to chaperone the trip. Parents can volunteer to chaperone when they register their child for the trip through My Payments Plus.

1st Semester 9th Grade Sewing Students completed their final project of Pajama Pants. They were very proud to wear something they made.

This week, 8th grade students enjoyed a breakfast donated by their gracious families. They also got to watch Enola Holmes to see a mystery in action. Thank you to everyone who helped make this possible!

Student Services Department / 7th to 8th Grade Program Planning

In the last installment of the Team 7-2 Games, the groups competed against each other in a cup stacking challenge! In true 7-2 style, we kept it interesting by introducing a dodgeball component. While groups of students stacked cups, opposing teams could roll dodgeballs to knock over their stacks. A great time was had by all in the Main Gym, however there could only be one winner and this time it was Team Barno! Hilbert I&E is still in the lead, but we are all plotting against them!

The quest for the 7-0 Victory Cup continued as the teams competed in a trivia relay. The winning team answered all 25 questions correctly in the quickest time. It was a true team effort! Procuring the championship crown for this competition was Team Ambrosini in a photo-finish against Team Dufresne, who snagged second place. Teams Rickert and Team D'Arcangelo tied for third place. The upcoming competition - Valentines Pairs - will give all teams a chance to unseat Teams Ambrosini and Madden who are currently tied for first overall.

Please Remember to Pay Lunch Balances

Many students across the district currently have negative balances in their lunch accounts. We ask all parents and guardians to please check their MySchoolBucks account to view their balance and, if negative, to please make a payment. Even if you pack a lunch for your child(ren), they still may be purchasing cafeteria items.

To make a payment: Log in to MySchoolBucks and click MAKE A PAYMENT. Click CAFETERIA MEAL PAYMENT. Select or enter a payment amount. Click ADD TO BASKET. Click CHECK OUT NOW to complete the payment process.

For complete instructions on how to use your MySchoolBucks account, go to http://learnmyschoolbucks.com/Parent. You can also use MSB to monitor what your student is purchasing for breakfast and lunch and check your child(ren)'s account balance(s). If you have questions or concerns related to your child(ren)’s account(s), please call the Aramark Food Services office at 267-893-5758.
