OHS Weekly Wag 🐾

Officer Myers and Officer Cardoso of the Mattapoisett police department visited the school this week for our annual Bus Safety lesson and evacuation drill.

During All School Meetings this week, several students were recognized.

In 4th grade, Makayla helped a 5th-grade student whose hands were full to pick up the papers she had dropped.

5th grader Micah got a shout-out for cheering up a friend.

In 6th, Mia helped a classmate pick up his binders when he dropped them, Addie helped a classmate who was having trouble with a math problem, and Yonathan received a positive call home for helping a classmate every day at dismissal.

In 5th grade, Kenzie was recognized by Ms. Trudell and received a positive call home for making a card for a student who was moving to a new school and having all the 5th graders sign it.

Parent conferences are coming up in two weeks. We will dismiss at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 17th, and Friday, October 18th, instead of our usual 12:20 p.m. early release time.
