The Third Week of Advent: A Time for Joy
As we enter the third week of Advent, we light the pink candle on the Advent wreath, symbolizing joy. This week is often called "Gaudete Week," meaning "rejoice," reminding us of the joyful anticipation of Christ's birth. It’s a time to pause, reflect on the blessings in our lives, and share that joy with others. Let us carry this spirit of hope and celebration as we prepare our hearts for the coming of our Savior.
The Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe
This week, parishioners joyfully celebrated the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, honoring Mary’s miraculous appearance to St. Juan Diego in 1531. This beloved feast highlights Mary’s role as a mother to all and her message of faith, hope, and unity. The celebration was made even more special with a delicious tamale breakfast generously provided by Robert and PJ Castaneda. Thank you Robert and PJ for your generosity and very thoughtful contribution to this meaningful Feast Day!

Life Skill of the Week
Our Life Skill for this week will focus on "Respect: Willingly show consideration or appreciation for others." Respect is embedded in each and every one of our SLEs. Showing respect for all is also a foundational attribute of living our Catholic Faith. As we enter this last week before the break, lets focus on ensuring that respect is always in the forefront of all that we do. By following “The Golden Rule” you will be a model of respect this week!

FACTS One-Time Family Fee for New Families
If this is the first year your child is attending St. Anthony of Padua School, there is a one-time family fee of $525.00 billed to your incidental billing account. Our New Family Development Fee will be charged to new Saints families on October 1 and will be due by December 31, 2024. Families are able to make a one-time payment through your Family Portal or make smaller payments until the end of December. This fee is assessed to all new St. Anthony of Padua School families and provides the funding necessary for advertising, marketing and communications strategies, as well as equipping our school with additional resources to ensure an academically rigorous program within a state-of-the-art environment. Do not confuse this one-time Family fee of $525.00 with the annual Enrollment fee of $500.00 per student. Should you require an extension, please contact the School Office in order to accommodate your request. Thank you for your continued support and cooperation.
