CPA Tiger Talk
September 26-30, 2022
Friday September 30 is an Early Release Day!
Words of Wisdom
"The ideals which have lighted my way, and time after time have given me new courage to face life cheerfully, have been kindness, beauty, and truth." ~Albert Einstein
Kindness, beauty, and truth, like so many values and ideals, are interwoven. There is, after all, beauty and truthfulness in all acts of kindness. Truly kindhearted people are motivated by an honest desire to be helpful and humane.
In our lives, we are awarded the unique opportunity to continually light the way for those around us who struggle. Kindnesses, both large and small, uplift, encourage, and live on in the memories of others. How awesome to be remembered for en(courage)ing others with kindness.

Ready, Set, FAFSA!
Free financial aid events are available to Minnesota students and families via Zoom. The series, running on Tuesday evenings, September 27 through October 25, is intended for current high school students and will cover general information about the college application and financial aid process, details on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), the Minnesota Dream Act for undocumented students, and other ways to pay for college.
All sessions will have interpretation in Spanish, Somali, and Hmong. Attendees can ask questions in the chat and have them answered during the event by financial aid experts. Students who attend any of the sessions will be entered into a drawing to win a $500 scholarship (one entry per session attended).
Space is limited so register soon!
These sessions are offered by the Minnesota Office of Higher Education, Minnesota Department of Education, ECMC The College Place and Minnesota Goes to College. For session dates, topics and to register: bit.ly/readysetfafsa. Contact tpribnow@ecmc.org with any questions.
