Middleton Families,

Thank you to everyone who joined us for conferences last week. It was great to connect and we appreciate the partnership in your child's education. Next Friday, Middleton's next principal, Natasha Edinger, will be here from 2:15-4:00 PM to meet families and students. Kona Ice will be here as well and it's sure to be a fun-filled event. We hope to see you there. Enjoy the weekend and we'll see you next week!

Middleton Chess Tournament

The Middleton All-School Chess Tournament is back and will be held on Thursday, May 30th! Any student who knows the rules of chess is welcome to join. They’ll play 4 to 5 games throughout the school day. Awards will be presented the following day before school starts. Sign-up sheets are in classrooms (please sign up by May 25th). Middleton Carnival

The Middleton Carnival is coming up on May 31 from 4pm - 8pm. Join us with your family for food, games, prizes, and lots of fun! We are in need of many volunteers to run games and activities. Please consider signing up to help make our carnival a fun event for our kiddos. Click the sign up link to see how you can help. We appreciate your support and look forward to seeing you there!

Mileage Club

Mileage club encourages kids to experience walking/jogging/running in a non competitive environment. Students log laps during lunch recess and parents help to punch cards and motivate kids as they have fun with fitness. When the card is full, kids earn prizes that they can only get from Mileage Club! The best part of the club is that it is FREE FOR ALL STUDENTS!! On the days your student will be participating please have them wear appropriate shoes for this activity. Mileage club runs every Tuesday and Thursday during the month of May (May 3rd to May 30th) weather permitting.

School Supply Boxes

We are excited to continue our partnership with EPI (Educational Products, Inc.) for providing our 2024-2025 school supply packs! Click HERE and enter the school ID, MID115 (3 letters and 3 numbers). Follow the directions to complete your order and if you have any questions you can reach out to Kelli Gladheim at gladheimkk@yahoo.com with any questions. Order deadline is June 16th. School supplies will be distributed to each child's classroom before the first day of school next year.

Sports Summer Camps - Hosted by SHS Athletics

Is your child interested in sports? Looking for fun summer activities? Our very own Sherwood High School Athletics teams are hosting a variety of summer camps this year, and there are options for kids in all grades Kindergarten and up!

Middleton PreK Enrollment Open

We are excited to share that our Middleton PreK class is open for registration! Our PreK is open to students who are age 4 on or before September 1, 2024 and is taught by a certified teacher. More information about our PreK program, and information about interest forms can be found here.

Volunteering- There are many opportunities to volunteer at Middleton. All volunteers will need to a) complete a background check. A new background check must be completed for each school year.
  • Background checks are completed online: Background Check Forms. Background checks may take up to 10 days to process.
  • The state of Oregon no longer requires COVID vaccinations for PK-12 school volunteers.


PAC- Our parent volunteer group is a very important part of our school. We are in need of several volunteers to support upcoming events. If you are interested, reach out to middletonpacboard@gmail.com to learn more about how to get involved.
