Principal's Message
Hi Tiger Nation!
Tomorrow morning at 8am marks the next grade pull for Tiger Time. Students will be issued new statuses based on their current course grades; all C's or better is FLEX and any D's or F's is FOCUSED. Teachers will be sure grades are up to date and accurate, marking anything handed in but not yet graded as No Count (NC) so that students are not penalized.
What's new this go around is that FLEX students will be able to choose their FLEX location. On Monday, after announcements, students will receive a Google Form, asking them to make their selection. Spaces will close on the form when full. The locations are:
- Cafeteria/Lair (can eat in this location)
- Library (quiet study hall, no food or drink, must be seated)
- East Gym (no food or drink, basketball and volleyball open, can sit and socialize in bleachers)
- Upper Gym (no food or drink, can socialize, sit, and hang out with friends)
Students will report to these locations (unless they are working with a teacher) until the next grade pull. As we have max capacities in each area, and are tracking which students report where, we cannot accommodate changing locations.
We are excited to offer this choice to our students who have earned FLEX status. Those that are on FOCUSED status will report to their requesting teacher, or stay in 2nd period for study hall.
If you believe your status is an error- please check Skyward and talk with the teacher of whom you believe the error exists.
Thank you!
Have another beautiful week!
Ms. Ichi
