Razorback Camp
The Rising Razorback Camp is our back to school event for incoming 6th graders and their families. Students and parents will follow a set schedule, as this is not a come and go event. The 6th grade students will start off at 8am in the gym, and the parents will start at 8am in the cafeteria. There will be presentations for the students and parents separately. The schedule walk for the 6th grade students and their families is from 9-10am and is self paced.
Families will have an opportunity to learn about Robinson PTA, join the PTA and purchase spirit wear.
The schedule walk for the 7th and 8th grade students is from 10:30-11:30am and is also self paced.
Please note that the purpose of this event is to explore Robinson and familiarize yourself with the building, the teachers will not be available. Bring a picture or a printout of your class schedule.
Robinson Walkabout
This evening event on August 9th is for the 6th, 7th and 8th grade students and their families if they did not get to attend the Razorback Camp or if they would like to visit the building one more time before school begins. Please bring a picture or a printout of your student's schedule. Students and their families will have an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the building and get to know the teachers by accessing their teacher profile page online. Please note that families will get to meet their students' teachers in person on August 29th during the Fall Open House.
Counseling Updates
Schedules will be released on Monday, August 5th on Skyward Family Access.
Please note this will take the place of the Parent Portal and you must create an account to access your students schedule. Parents who need assistance with how to establish their account can follow the step by step instructions listed on the Family Access website: https://www.pisd.edu/FamilyAccessHelp
This new parent account is intended to be a one stop shop where parents have a single sign on into all family/student applications. The Family Access portal is an easy-to-use web resource, available on any device with an internet connection. It allows parents and guardians to access information about their students, such as attendance, grades, assignments, schedules, progress reports and report cards.
Please remember that electives are not guaranteed. We do our best to provide our students with their first choice, however, due to scheduling conflicts and time constraints changes may not be feasible.
If you would like to request a course change, please fill out this Course Request Change Google form. Course change requests will not be accepted via email. If there is a change to your child's schedule, you will receive an email from a counselor to reprint a schedule.
Please re-check your child’s schedule on the first day of school to ensure you have the most recent schedule. Schedules will not be printed at school this year.

News From the Nurse
All students enrolled and attending school must meet the minimum vaccination requirements for Texas. Parents may check the PISD District Health Services Immunization website, to review which immunizations are required for their child’s particular grade level. As a reminder, all students entering the 7th grade must have one dose of the MCV4 vaccine, as well as a Tdap vaccine. Parents must submit updated immunization records to the school, prior to August 13, 2024. Parents with a Skyward Family Access account can view the current immunization record on file for their child. Please contact your child’s physician or the Robinson school nurse, if you have any questions.
