Parents, staff, and district leaders met at Ross this week to discuss the Title 1 plan at Ross. This is a requirement by the Federal government to meet yearly to discuss the current state/goals of the school. As I have shared, Ross is one of two Title 1 schools in Parkway. The program is federally funded and provides Ross with additional resources that support our growing needs as a school. Our meeting was extremely productive and we were able to celebrate many of the successes of Ross while also discussing some opportunities for growth for the future. I am excited to see Ross continue to grow and support the needs of our community.

May 23rd: Friends at the Front

May 26th: No School - Memorial Day

May 29th: Half Day - Dismiss @ 1pm

May 29th: Last Day of School

This week, we begin our state testing. We kindly ask that you ensure your child(ren) arrive on time. As a school... we want to create a testing environment that allows all students to feel successful, not rushed, or worried about missing parts of the test. I have included the MAP schedule for grades 3, 4, and 5 to help with planning late arrivals or early dismissals. Thank you for your ongoing partnership.

While our schools welcome the use of our outdoor spaces (playgrounds, fields, etc.) by the community; school related agendas, athletics, activities and Community Education programs including Adventure Club are the top priority for occupying those spaces between 6:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Families are welcome to enjoy these spaces when available but must be willing to leave or relocate should any of the aforementioned groups/activities require that space.
