We had an amazing first full week with our Cubs! They are already doing amazing things in the classroom and I'm excited about their growth this school year. We hosted our first Habit Huddles this past week. During Habit Huddles, we meet with all of our students and review our monthly habit and schoolwide essential behaviors. This is also a great time to celebrate as a school and enjoy our school family.
Please read below for exciting events and opportunities coming up. We believe in the paradigm that Educators and Families partner to develop the whole person and look forward to sharing with you opportunities to partner with us!
I hope you all have an amazing weekend and we look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow morning!

Habit #1: Be Proactive
Our first habit of the 7 Habits of Happy Kids is to Be Proactive! But what does that mean? One way we can be proactive is by remember that we choose our own actions (behaviors), attitudes, and moods because "I am in charge of me"! It's a new school year which is the perfect time for a fresh, new start! How are you going to have a great attitude and behavior? What about when certain things don't go your way or happen how you want them to? Are you going to be proactive or reactive?
