Benfield Family Newsletter
February 27, 2022
Greetings Benfield Families!
When we reach that time of year to celebrate the 100th day, it makes us reflect on how fast the year has gone by. It is amazing to realize that we are more than half-way through the school year. I continue to be impressed by our students and their dedication to learning. I see it each day as I visit the classrooms. One of the most impressive traits of a learner is one who asks questions and uses that information to deepen their understanding. Our children continuously ask questions and want to learn more. They are truly an impressive group of children!
PTO Bingo Night
A special thank you to the Gonzalez Family who did an outstanding job hosting the Virtual Bingo Night on Friday. The Benfield community really enjoyed the experience.
Parent Portal
With interim reports being available for parents on March 4th, now is a good time to be sure you have access to the Parent Portal. Information about the Parent Portal can be found by clicking here.
Masks on the School Bus
In accordance with that regulatory change, effective Monday, February 28, 2022, Anne Arundel County Public Schools will no longer require masks to be worn on school buses when those school buses are transporting students for school-related programs. This includes transportation to and from school, athletic events, field trips, etc., when that transportation occurs on a school bus.
