Principal's Corner
November 26th, 2023
Hello Killam Families!
Guess what? March is here, and it's time to bring on the fun like a koala in a eucalyptus forest!
🐨 Let's shake off those winter blues and jump into this month with all the enthusiasm of a kangaroo on a trampoline!
As always, your support means the world to us. Whether you're helping with homework, attending our Killam Building events, or just giving your kiddos an extra hug, you're making a huge difference in their lives.
Last week, we kicked off using student pins for breakfast and lunch. It went very well with upwards of 160 students getting breakfast one morning! One thing to note is that your child will be charged if they get a second breakfast or lunch. You are welcome to upload money to their My SchoolBucks account at anytime or encourage them to stick to one meal! 100% your choice! If you have any questions about this, please email our cafe manager at michelle.brennan@reading.k12.ma.us.
Here's to a March full of adventures, laughter, and maybe even a few koala sightings along the way!
Koala hugs and high-fives,
Lindsey Fulton Principal

Do you have a child who is on an IEP, a 504 plan, or with special needs. If so, the Reading SEPAC exists for YOU.
Please fill out this brief, anonymous survey to help your SEPAC Board to plan for the 2024-2025 school year. It should only take a few minutes.
This school year we brought speakers to the Reading community on important topics such as executive functioning and anxiety based in large part on what parents highlighted in the annual survey, so it’s very important to make sure your voice is heard.
We also want to hear from you on how we are doing in meeting our community’s needs and what more we can do to improve Reading SEPAC.
The survey results will be discussed at the next Reading SEPAC Business meeting on April 2nd at 8:45AM.
