Design Camp
Register now for Design Camp - Summer 2024
- March 8 early bird deadline
- May 17 deadline to register for all in-person and virtual camps
Design Camp offers the chance to learn about the design professions through hands-on projects, tours and other activities created by Fay Jones School faculty who teach the disciplines of architecture, landscape architecture, and interior architecture and design. In these school-guided camps, students have the opportunity to work closely with faculty and collaborate with peers in a fun and creative in-person studio or virtual studio environment as they explore the design process.
In summer 2024, two different weeklong camps will take place on the University of Arkansas campus in Fayetteville; campers also have the option to stay overnight in a campus residence hall. Back this year, a two-week-long residential Advanced Camp will be held on the U of A campus for more experienced designers. There also will be weeklong camps held at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville and at The Innovation Hub at Winrock International in North Little Rock. In addition, a weeklong, school-led Virtual Camp will be offered.
You may register by clicking on the "Register for Camp" button at the bottom of the page. This will take you to the registration site. Once you have submitted the registration for the camp you choose, you will be provided with details on the next steps, including directions to the payment site. And you should receive a confirmation email for both the registration and for your payment.
Please email us at faycamp@uark.edu if you encounter any problems with the registration.
And please share this information with any family members or friends who you think might also enjoy the Design Camp experience.
