Sales for the 2024-2025 SFDS Yearbook begin today! The yearbooks are $15 each and ordering/payment is completed through the Online Payment System. The books will be delivered to students during the last week of school. The committee has ordered a fixed number of books so place your order soon before they are gone! Mrs. Jen would like to remind the families that the very last day to be able to charge without funds on the students’ account will be April 17, 2025. The students will need to have funds on their accounts to be able to purchase any items from the café to include with their lunches. Accounts need to also be brought up-to-date if there is a negative balance.

A message from Jena Greiner: Staff Appreciation Week is just around the BOARD and we aren’t playing any GAMES. It is time to help show our staff just how appreciative we are for everything they do each day!

All families are invited to MAKE YOUR MOVE by donating small tokens of appreciation for each staff member. See the Signup Genius link below for the list of requested POWER UPS for the staff that week. We already have donations rolling in, but we still need your help to MOVE AHEAD!

Federation of North American Explorers (FNE), a Vatican-approved Catholic scouting organization.

My sons Nick and Gabe are members as are several other parish families, and I also volunteer as a leader with the group.

While we participate in traditional scouting activities, our primary mission is to help form boys into strong Catholic men. Boys typically join around age 7 or 8 and can remain active through age 18.

The day after the fish fry, Fr. Berger kindly led our Promise Ceremony and encouraged us to grow the group and look into holding meetings at the school gym or St. Philip's. (A photo from the ceremony is attached.)

To help raise awareness, we’ll be ending our spring camp on Sunday, April 27th by attending Mass at St. Francis de Sales (camp typically ends on Sunday with mass). Our leaders will be available after Mass to speak with any interested parents about the program—whether they’d like to join this spring or at the start of our next program year in September.

Next week, the students will be coming home with Carlo Acutis (soon-to-be) saint cards. Carlo Acutis's canonization Mass is April 27 (over Spring Break). His canonization Mass will officially make him a saint! Many thanks to Mrs. Venturato who illustrated the holy cards. All K-8 students and staff will be receiving St. Carlo Acutis holy card.

Bishop Fenwick has a tradition for seniors: They paint their skirts to represent their chosen colleges. Congratulations to the following seniors and their college decision!
