In honor of Fire Prevention Week, our students had an exciting and educational visit from the Fraser Fire Department that brought their lessons on community helpers to life! After two weeks of learning about the essential roles that people like police officers, doctors, and firefighters play in keeping our community safe, the visit from the firefighters was a perfect way to reinforce key safety lessons in a memorable, hands-on way.

Monday, November 4th begins our Texas Roadhouse gift card fundraiser. The fundraiser will end on Friday, November 15th. Gift cards will be ready by December 6th. Just in time for the holiday!

Texas Roadhouse will provide a lunch to the classroom that raises the most money and the top 2 sellers receive a prize as well.

A big thank you to everyone who participated in our first ever trunk-or-treat. We had a HUGE turnout. We raised 3 boxes full of canned goods that will be donated back to our community because of this event.

A visit to Blake's apple orchard was a wonderful, hands-on learning experience. Mrs. Pastrick, Mrs. Pigula, and Mrs. Smith classes had the opportunity to taste fresh apples and cider. Lot of memories were made with families that result in a lifelong experience!

Each year canned food is collected to give back to our community. Please consider donating by bringing in can goods to your child's teacher.
