An e-newsletter from Pinewood Elementary School
September 27th, 2024
Dear Pinewood Families,
Happy October! As we settle into the school year, I want to take a moment to reflect on the wonderful experiences we’ve shared so far. Your support and participation during our welcome back nights, meet-and-greets, Pandathon and our first Family Library Night has been truly inspiring. This month, we have many exciting events planned, including Family Library Nights, Pandathon and picture day.
Thank you for your continued partnership. Together, we can create an enriching environment for our children to grow and succeed. I look forward to seeing you at our upcoming events!
Lena Christiansen, Principal

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED for PANDATHON
On Thursday, October 3rd we will celebrate with the Pandathon. This is a fun day for all students with a bounce house and other fun stations run by the specialist team at Pinewood. We need a few more volunteers to make this event a success. If you're able to volunteer, please sign up here:

(Reminder - you must have a background check completed with the office in order to volunteer during school hours.)
MEMBERSHIP DRIVE
We're hoping to add a few more members to our roster this year! There are no obligations with membership, but it helps to support our local PTA as well as the MN and National PTA. This year we are offering the "Pinewood Joy" T-Shirts with a membership for $20, or you can choose a basic membership for $7. We are extending the window for T-Shirts - they can be ordered through October 18 and will be delivered approximately 2 weeks later.
