Principal's Update #21
May 26 2024
Message from Mr. Jackson.....
Hello Students, Parents, Guardians and Caregivers,
We have arrived at senior week, the road to graduation and the celebrations of the Class of 2024. While we look forward to a wonderful week with the Class of 2024, it's important to remember that we still have 3+ weeks of school remaining. It's important for all our students to remain focused on achieving their academic goals. All students should prioritize finalizing assignments and studying for end of unit/end of year assessments.
I hope everyone is having a great Memorial Day weekend. If you already haven't, I encourage you to take a moment to honor any military personnel who has passed while serving in our Armed Forces.
Please see the remainder of my update below.
Chet Jackson
Principal

SOS COMMITTEE - VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR FRIDAY, 5/31
Please see below:
Each year the SOS Committee hosts an all-night party for NAHS graduates the night of graduation. The goal of this event is to provide our graduates a safe and fun way to celebrate this milestone one last time together as a class. This is a gift not only to the graduates, but also to their parents and caregivers. We have had very generous contributions of food and funds, but we cannot host this event without volunteers to chaperone. Right now we do not have nearly enough volunteers to make this event successful. We depend on parents of underclassmen to pay it forward so we continue to host this event for your future graduate. Please consider volunteering to chaperone for a shift. You can sign up at: bit.ly/SOSSignup2024. Coffee and snacks (and camaraderie) provided!
Thank you,
The SOS Committee
