West Oxford Owl

Family has been a theme of this week at West Oxford! Our 3rd-5th grade fathers came out for All Pro Dad's breakfast on Tuesday. Many families joined us for Culture and Curriculum Night. Others of you joined us on field trips to the science museum and the farm. Students in different classrooms learned about fire safety, chemical changes, place value, and descriptive writing.

Mark your calendars!

• Second quarter starts on Monday, October 14th.
• The Candy Man rewards events will take place Monday morning, and orders will be eligible to be picked up after noon on Monday. Orders can be picked up until 5:30.
• Picture Day is October 16th.
• Fall Break is October 17th and 18th.
• Parent Teacher conferences will take place from 4:00-6:30 on October 24th and from 8:00-12:00 on October 25th. There is no school for students on October 25th.
• Fall Festival is November 8th from 5:00-7:00. We are looking for volunteers and individuals who can donate cakes and prizes. Please reach out to westoxfordelempto@gmail.com if you can help.
• Bingo Night is November 15th from 6:00-8:00. Kona Ice and Bigfoot Barbecue will be on site!
