The 929-December 4
Happy Wednesday Edgewood Community,
Dear Edgewood Families,
I hope you all had a restful and enjoyable Thanksgiving, spending the holiday in ways that bring joy and meaning to your celebrations. As we transition back to school, we are energized for the final few weeks of the calendar year and all the learning and community-building opportunities ahead.
One event we are particularly excited about is our Day of Giving this Friday. This special day has become a cherished tradition at Edgewood, celebrating the importance of giving, philanthropy, and supporting others. It’s a day filled with meaningful and memorable activities that bring our school community together in a truly impactful way. To ensure that all students can participate, we will follow a special schedule for the day. You can find the details in the schedule linked here: Day of Giving Schedule.
Additionally, this Friday is the final day to complete the HumanEx Family Engagement Survey, and we are so close to reaching our goal! We are currently at 20% participation, which means we only need 90 more surveys to get there. Please take a few moments to fill out the survey using this link: Family Engagement Survey.
Your feedback highlights all that makes Edgewood an exceptional community, from our facilities to our staff and students. It also plays a vital role in helping us set measurable goals for improvement in future years.
Thank you for your continued support of these efforts and for helping to make Edgewood such a special place.
Warm regards,
Louis Kotvis
Principal, Edgewood Middle School

Deliberate Damage: Damage to the iPad, case, or stylus will result in full repair costs starting with the first incident.
iPad Tech Package: Full replacement cost is $737.90.
iPad Case: Ripped cases or cases with the trackpad removed will require a replacement, costing $120.
Lost Crayon/Stylus:
First lost crayon will be replaced with a MaxCase stylus at no charge.
Additional lost crayons will result in a $27 replacement fee per MaxCase stylus.
